Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 27 July 2026
Try before you pay
Every tool has a free tier, so you can verify quality on your own files before spending anything. We recommend doing exactly that — it prevents most refund requests.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your dashboard, or through the Stripe billing portal linked there. No email required and no retention hoops. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then simply stops renewing and your account drops to the free tier. Your account, API keys, and dynamic QR codes remain intact.
14-day refund on first payment
If a paid plan is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify the request. This applies to your first payment on a plan, not to every renewal.
Renewals
Renewal charges are generally not refunded, because you had the month's quota available. Two exceptions, and we apply them without argument:
- Service fault: if an outage or bug on our side stopped you using the plan, we refund that period in full.
- Unused renewal: if you meant to cancel, were charged, and made no requests that period, tell us within 30 days and we refund it.
What we don't refund
- Quota you used but were unhappy with — the free tier exists to test quality first.
- Unused quota at the end of a month; quotas reset and do not roll over.
- Accounts suspended for breaching the acceptable use terms.
How to request a refund
Email billing@toolbeam.app from your account's email address with the approximate charge date. We reply within 2 business days, and approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, typically arriving in 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank — a refund from us is faster than a chargeback. Accounts with an open chargeback may be suspended until it is resolved.
Price changes
If we raise the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect so you can cancel first. Existing subscriptions are never charged a higher price without notice.
Template, not legal advice. Consumer protection law in some countries grants stronger cancellation rights than this policy — for example the EU's 14-day withdrawal right — and those override anything written here.
