About Product Photo Maker

Marketplaces want a product floating on pure white, filling most of the frame, at a specific size — and they reject listings that miss. Upload a photo and this cuts the product out, drops it on a clean background, pads it to the proportion each marketplace expects, and exports at the right dimensions. The presets carry the rules so you don't have to look them up.

  • Presets for Amazon, Etsy, eBay and Shopify with the correct size and padding
  • Any background colour, not just white
  • Consistent framing — two photos of the same product come out identically sized
  • No watermark, on every plan

How to make a product photo

  1. 1Upload a product photo — any background, any size.
  2. 2Pick the marketplace you're listing on, or set your own size and colour.
  3. 3Check the preview: the product should fill most of the frame.
  4. 4Download the JPG or PNG and upload it to your listing.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Amazon need a white background?
Amazon's main product image must be on a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255) with the product filling about 85% of the frame. Listings that don't comply can be suppressed, which is why the Amazon preset sets both the colour and the padding for you.
What size should a product photo be?
Amazon and eBay want at least 1600 pixels on the longest side so zoom works; Etsy recommends 2000×2000 and Shopify 2048×2048. Each preset here uses that platform's recommended size.
Will two photos of the same product match?
Yes. The product is trimmed to its own edges before padding is applied, so the amount of empty space in your original photo doesn't change the result. That's what keeps a listing gallery looking consistent.
Can I use a colour other than white?
Yes — any hex colour. White is the default because it's what marketplaces require, but a coloured background works well for social posts and lookbooks.
Is there an API?
Yes. POST an image to /api/bg-remove/product-photo with your API key and the preset you want, and the composed image comes back in the response.
